Packing List
Things to Note:
-
We are unplugging for this 3-day quest. Leave your cell phones, iPods, iPads, speakers, video games, and all other electronic devices at home. Your tribe parents will have cell phones in case of emergency, and photographers/videographers will capture the magic!
-
You will be fed well. Please refrain from bringing any outside food or snacks. If you have special dietary or other needs, please contact Kristen Reeder from the Downingtown Ward as soon as possible. She is helping us coordinate those special accommodations.
Recommended Clothing Treatment:
As part of getting ready, we want to make sure everyone is comfortable outdoors and protected from ticks and mosquitoes. A little preparation ahead of time will go a long way.
We recommend treating clothing and gear with permethrin a few days before the event so it has time to dry and fully bond with the fabric. Once applied, it typically lasts:
-
Up to 6 weeks, or
-
About 6 washings
Timing
Please plan to take care of clothing treatment several days before Quest so everything has time to dry properly. This is important for it to work effectively.
