Leading up to Book of Mormon Quest
-
See that your youth attends and participates in your ward fundraiser to help offset the cost of Book of Mormon Quest.
-
Make efforts to allow your youth attend at least one of your ward preparation nights.
-
Review the battle training videos linked below.
-
Check the packing list early and make sure that your youth has everything that they need. Check out the clothing link below for more information regarding Book of Mormon Quest Every day and Vignette clothing. Pay special note to treating clothes in advance with permethrin.
-
Check the weather for quest as it gets closer, so you can help your youth plan appropriately for the temperatures.
-
Speak with your youth about the rules at camp particularly the rules surrounding use of phones and/or electronic devices. We recommend for youth to not bring their cell phones to quest, we realize this will be challenging for some of them, but our hope is that it will help them to be present and connect with other youth. Camp leaders will have a phone, should you need to get a hold of your child. Phone numbers will be made available through your ward presidency and camp leaders.

Help youth prepare for Battles
We would love your help preparing the youth for two of the large-group battle activities that will take place during the conference. To help the games run smoothly, safely, and maximize the experience for everyone, we are asking each ward to share the short training materials with your youth before arriving at camp and encourage them to review them ahead of time. Please help ensure your youth attends this. Below are the links for your information, if you would like to review it with them to make sure they understand.
