Clothing Guide
The goal is immersion, not perfection.
Simple, cohesive costumes help participants step into the story and feel the spirit of the experience.
Youth assigned to a vignette should bring at least two BOM‑styled Everyday clothing options along with any costumes needed for their specific vignette(s). These costumes will be worn over their base layer, so comfort and layering should be considered.
Youth should come prepared with comfortable, modest clothing suitable for daily activities. All attire should include a comfortable base layer and closed‑toe athletic shoes.

Tutorials
Leaders should help youth prepare simple, modest, and period‑appropriate costumes for their assigned vignette.

Costumes do not need to be elaborate—think neutral colors, natural fabrics, and basic layers that reflect a Book of Mormon setting.

Avoid modern patterns, logos, or accessories.

Encourage families to use items they already have at home (tunics, belts, shawls, simple wraps).

Please remember to label all costume pieces and bring them in a bag on the day of the Quest.
