Recommended Clothing Treatment:
As part of getting ready, we want to make sure everyone is comfortable outdoors and protected from ticks and mosquitoes. A little preparation ahead of time will go a long way.
We recommend treating clothing and gear with permethrin a few days before the event so it has time to dry and fully bond with the fabric. Once applied, it typically lasts:
-
Up to 6 weeks, or
-
About 6 washings
Timing
Please plan to take care of clothing treatment several days before Quest so everything has time to dry properly. This is important for it to work effectively.
